Sika drainage mat 420 and 720 sika drainage mat 420 and 720 consist of an impermeable high flow dimpled polypropylene drainage core heat bonded to a layer of non woven polypropylene 420 or woven polypropylene 720 filter fabric on the top side and a polyethylene membrane protection film on the bottom side. The stud shaped dimples provide an air chamber between the roll and its matting surface. A dimple mat is a sheet of semi rigid plastic usually high density polyethylene that comes in a roll. The plastic has an egg carton shape with protruding dimples that make the membrane fairly thick generally between 1 4 inch and 1 2 inch thick.
