Schluter ditra and ditra xl are specifically designed for ceramic and stone tile installations ditra and ditra xl provide uncoupling to prevent cracked tile and grout. In conjunction with tiled coverings schlüter ditra 25 forms an uncoupling waterproofing and vapour pressure equalisation layer. In conjunction with a tiled covering the matting forms an uncoupling waterproofing and vapour pressure equalisation layer to accommodate construction moisture occurring within the substrate and an uncoupling layer for problematic substrates. In conjunction with tiled coverings schlüter ditra 25 forms an uncoupling waterproofing and vapour pressure equalisation layer.

Made of polyethylene ditra and ditra xl serve as a waterproofing layer that protects moisture sensitive substrates such as plywood osb. Likewise stress cracks in the substrate are bridged and are therefore not transferred to the surface covering. Ditra mat or otherwise called ditra 25 now uncouples the floor covering from the substrate and neutralises the tensions between the substrate and the tile covering that result from the varying deformations of the materials.
